The Kempinski Hotel Hybernská Prague, part of Europe’s oldest luxury hotel group Kempinski, has announced today that it will be offering a free trip to Munich to 10 Czech candidates in order for them to attend this year’s Kempinski Career Day, which will take place in the Kempinski Hotel Airport Munich on 10th March, 2012.

The Kempinski Career Day is giving the opportunity to anyone that has a current hotel job history and that is interested in developing their career within the Kempinski Group, as well as existing Kempinski employees, to apply for this trip. If selected, they will have the opportunity to meet with the group’s senior management and more than 60 general managers from all around the world to discuss their prospective career opportunities. As happened last year, the Career Day will take place in the Kempinski Hotel Airport Munich, and from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm it will welcome more than 1,000 participants, all of whom will have the chance to learn about the Kempinski Group and its hotels worldwide, and to apply for one of the available working positions.

The Kempinski Hotel Hybernská Prague is inviting all those that are interested in attending the Kempinski Career Day to apply to take part in a pre-selection interview in the Prague hotel on 9th February, 2012. All applicants must have some hotel experience, speak English and be looking for a career in a luxury hotel. If they meet these requirements, they should send their CV to the Human Resources Department on hr.prague@kempinski.com (subject “Career Day”) by 3rd February. Selected candidates will then be invited for an interview by the Executive Team of the Kempinski Hybernská Prague on 9th February. From those interviewed, ten will be selected to travel by coach to Munich on the morning of the Career  Day, and have interviews organised for their desired positions. They will receive notification whether they have been selected on 15th February, 2012.

Talking about this unique opportunity, Peter Knoll, General Manager of the Kempinski Hotel Hybernská Prague, said: “We had a couple of our own employees participating at last year’s Career Day, and they found it to be a great and very useful experience. One of them, Marie Bínová, is now a member of the opening team of the brand new Kempinski Seychelles Resort in Baie Lazare. Her success made us think that we would like to offer this opportunity to more young Czechs, and we hope that by taking ten people to the Career Day, some of them will get the chance of a lifetime.”
