Participants from all over Europe and also from afar such as the United States and Argentina.
The “Site EMEA Forum 2012” will kick-off in less than two weeks: from 18th to 20th June 2012 in Berlin. “Summer Feeling in Berlin” is the motto of this important MICE industry education and business networking event.
Key info: conference venues are the ICC Berlin and the Eco Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz; the opening reception will be held on board the picturesque Hoppetosse (a bar restaurant boat moored on the river Spree); while the gala dinner will take place 18th June at the historic Tempelhof Airport – together with some 450 MEXCON participants (Meeting Experts
Conference – ICCA. MPI, VDR, EVVC and GCB). Chairwoman is Site Italy’s past-president Annamaria Ruffini CMP and Host Committee Chair is Dr. Patrick Patridge, President Site Germany.

As many as nineteen countries are represented to date: apart from the host country Germany, participants come from Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Great Britain, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Principality of Monaco, Russia, Spain and Switzerland as well as from two non-EMEA countries: Argentina and the United States.
The event benefits from a prestigious international panel of sponsors: VisitBerlin Convention Office, Site International Foundation, Site Germany, Imex Frankfurt, Lufthansa AG (official carrier), Tourism Marketing & PR, Canadian Tourism Commission, Tourism Toronto and Travel Alberta.

«Focusing on the future, and drafting a long-term vision of our industry, which is the ultimate aim of the Forum, means understanding the present and making abundantly clear how to work out the challenges of nowadays – and tomorrow!», declares Chairwoman Annamaria Ruffini CMP. «The Site EMEA Forum 2012 plays a vital role in enhancing this understanding, since it joins our efforts and strengths in interpreting the trials of our markets. And I believe that giving voice to professionals facing everyday situations which are at least
similar – if not exactly the same – is the best way forward. The Site EMEA Forum 2012 will truly match the need for an extremely effective event combined with the mission to respect cultures and environment. I would liketo give due credit to the eco-sustainable attitude of our host city, which matches my own strong sensitivity of all green issues».
The host committee is chaired by Dr. Patrick Patridge (Tourism Marketing & PR) and composed of Heike Mahmoud and Sandra Gollnest from visitBerlin Berlin Convention Office, Alexandra Spriess from the DMC Markenreise and Mateja Bauer from PCO Eurotravel Solutions. The education program is directed by Miek Egberts CMP CMM.
