Rome :  Over 200 delegates from 69 countries have convened at the CANSO Global ATM AGM Summit this June from the 23rd to the 26th.  This conference is the most important annual event in the world for suppliers of air navigation services and was held for the first time in Italy.

The Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) represents 143 members in five continents and handles 85% of world air traffic.  During the four working days at the Hotel Rome Cavalieri, delegates discussed the issues of continuous development of air traffic, new technologies and methods of constant updates to personnel in order to ensure maximum safety.

The city of Rome offered a unique setting to the delegates for their opportunities to network and learn.  Delegates enjoyed a breath-taking view of Rome from the terraces of the charming “Villa Miani” and the magnificent setting of the historic and noble mansion of “Palazzo Colonna”.

AIM Group International has provided its support to the organisation of the summit which was a great opportunity to work with such an important organisation.  In February 2013, AIM will manage another important event within the Air Traffic Management, this time in Madrid, bringing the first edition of World ATM Congress, with an exhibition of 17,000 square meters and the expected participation of 5,000 visitors.  The World ATM congress is backed by leading air navigation service providers and industry suppliers making it the only event for the industry, by the industry.
