30 January 2013: Saxton Speakers Bureau has announced an impressive 10-act line-up for its famous, Saxton Ultimate Event Experience, returning on Tuesday, 26 February, to the Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME) in Melbourne.

The free, two hour event will present a range of leading speakers and entertainers from the worlds of business, entrepreneurship, music, illusion, sport and motivation, and is expected to attract an audience of over 1000 meetings professionals and buyers.

Winston Broadbent, Managing Director at Saxton Speakers Bureau, said the event is a unique way of experiencing first-hand a wide array of remarkable talent for all manner of events.

“Throughout our four years at AIME we’ve enjoyed the challenge of presenting such a diverse selection of individuals and packing the maximum possible entertainment into such a short space of time. Selecting presenters and developing the program for this year was no different.

”We have pulled together 10 incredible acts to inspire the audience and leave them with some valuable messages, as well as great ideas for talent and production for their own events,” he said.

ARIA Award-winning comedic and musical trio, Tripod, who recently played to sell-out crowds in Melbourne and Sydney, will be the masters of ceremonies for the morning, promising to unite the diverse range of voices in their iconic and inimitable way.

The morning will include musical performances from jazz great, James Morrison, as well as soul and blues from The Voice Australia favourite, Darren Percival.

From the business world, Megan Quinn, a co-founder of the acclaimed and phenomenally popular Net-A-Porter, the world’s premier online luxury fashion retailer, will inspire with her session on the spirit of entrepreneurial endeavor. Mark Bouris, one of Australia’s best-known business authorities and host of the upcoming season of Celebrity Apprentice Australia, will share his insights on accepting challenges.

Renowned ‘productivity amplifier’, Ian Stephens, will share powerful lessons on focus, discipline, motivation, achieving greater outcomes, and revenue and profit, while leading futurist, author, social entrepreneur and Cool NRG founder, Nic Frances, will speak on the challenges of doing business in the new world.

The program also features sports stars including, Layne Beachley, the most successful female surfer of all time and seven-time ASP World Tour champion, who will address the notion of passion, and the importance of pursuing it in your chosen field.

Marathon rowing champion, Rob Hamill, will present a powerful and inspiring message on tenacity, hope, freedom and love in his account of his brother’s kidnapping, torture and death at the hands of the Khmer Rouge.

In a breathtaking game of Russian Roulette, pre-eminent British mind-reader, Anthony Laye, has packed his industrial strength nail guns for some edge-of-the-seat entertainment, where he will put his powers of influence to the test.

Sally de Swart, Reed Travel Exhibitions Director for AIME, said the Saxton Ultimate Event Experience always proves to be incredibly popular amongst visitors and Hosted Buyers who attend AIME.

“We are pleased to welcome Saxton back to AIME this year as a major sponsor. The event is a popular part of our program, it is highly entertaining but also very valuable for meeting organisers who are regularly seeking new, exciting talent for events,” she said.
