Sustainable Travel International Launches Canada Office, Expanding Global Impact While Supporting Local Initiatives
The non-profit organization is recognized globally as the leading practitioner of innovative sustainable tourism development solutions for the travel industry

TORONTO, On. (October 16, 2013) – Sustainable Travel International has announced the launch of its Canada operations, in an effort to enhance the organization’s mission to collaborate with destinations, business and travellers to implement innovative sustainable tourism development and conservation solutions that protect the environment, support adaptation to climate change, maintain sense of place, and generate economic benefits.

The new Canada office and non-profit subsidiary boasts a high profile Canadian Board of Directors made up of leaders in the travel sector, and is a fully integrated extension of the organization’s international operations, which is headquartered in Washington, D.C.. The new office increases the non-governmental organization’s reach and expands its global impact, while supporting the advancement of sustainable tourism in Canada.

“Our working Board of Directors consists of talented and diverse professionals with a shared passion for sustainability in travel and tourism,” said Brian Mullis, Sustainable Travel International’s CEO and Founder. “The launch of our Canadian office is a celebration of our expanding global reach, and is evidence of the increasing demand for sustainable tourism solutions in Canada.
