Kuala Lumpur, 29 November 2013- Next Friday will see the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (BMCC) and Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur stage one of the festive season’s most anticipated business luncheons. “The city’s business elite will be out in full force to experience good old fashioned British hospitality with a touch of BMCC magic” said Molly Jagpal, Executive Director of BMCC.

Over 450 distinguished guests will gather for the BMCC Annual Corporate Christmas Luncheon to experience a tantalizing four course culinary extravaganza. Guests will be treated to Christmas caroling from KL’s very own little vocal angels, courtesy of Alice Smith School and a special performance by Datin Sri Tiara Jacquelina’s acclaimed Enfiniti Academy of Musical Theatre & Entertainment Arts (ENACT). The very talented Mr. Lokman Aslam, local singer-songwriter (of ‘One In A Million’ fame) will perform jazz, R&B and soul tunes in a specially crafted private set in an after party at Casbah.

The Christmas Luncheon has become synonymous with people giving back. On the day of the event, guests will drop their presents into a specially donated sleigh from DHL Malaysia. The gifts will be delivered by BMCC volunteers to a group of local children’s homes and orphanages in the coming days.
Frank Stocek, General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, KL said “we are honoured to host the BMCC’s signature Christmas event this year as we showcase renowned Mandarin Oriental hospitality complemented by exceptional culinary delights.”

Guests will have the chance to win top prizes including return business flights for two to London, England, courtesy of Etihad Airways, and return economy flights for two to Bangkok, Thailand, courtesy of CIT, and grandstand tickets to the 2014 Formula 1 PETRONAS Malaysia Grand Prix.
