World Travel Market 2012World Travel Market Latin America 2014 will see BRAZTOA – Brazil’s leading tour operator organisation – take centre stage with a number of initiatives including the BRAZTOA Village.

The 2000-square metre Braztoa Business Event will be the centerpiece of the exhibition, right in the middle of the show floor.  Furthermore, the area for BRAZTOA’s leading tour operator members will be in open-plan style, unlike last year when it was enclosed. The BRAZTOA Village is designed to forge and strengthen relationships between Brazilian tour operators and the global travel and tourism industry

BRAZTOA will also be running its hugely successful BRAZTOA Caravan, which will host up to 900 Brazilian travel agents at WTM Latin America.

Furthermore, BRAZTOA is again hosting a BRAZTOA Business Meeting at WTM Latin America. BRAZTOA’s Business Meetings are directed at professionals from the tourism market with a focus on business transactions, relationships, professional development and updating the industry of new trends. WTM Latin America exhibitors will be able to request meetings with the association’s operators in advance, which should optimize the timetable and the results achieved during the three days that the event lasts. The BRAZTOA Business Meeting will play an important  role in helping the industry conduct business at WTM Latin America.

“The alliance with WTM Latin America has opened up new frontiers for BRAZTOA’s associates. They have an opportunity to expand their business activities, to learn more about new products and to maintain the all-important relationships that they have with the travel agents”, declared BRAZTOA’s Chairman, Marco Ferraz.

The BRAZTOA Business Meeting event perfectly supports WTM Latin America’s objective to bring the world to Latin America and promote Latin America to the world. Furthermore, the event will also have a 150-strong Hosted Buyer Programme helping to generate deals between exhibitors and buyers.

BRAZTOA has also announced that it will be releasing its 2014 Yearbook at this year’s WTM Latin America. This publication, which is in its third edition, combines the association’s main actions, a full list of its members and its results in 2013, as well as analyses regarding the current outlook for tourism.

WTM Latin America Director Lawrence Reinisch said: “I am delighted with the strong support WTM Latin America is again receiving from BRAZTOA. The level of involvement from Brazil’s leading tour operator body demonstrates how WTM Latin America is facilitating business for the region.
