In 2016, Vienna will host the 53rd European Renal Association – European Dialysis and Transplant Association (ERA-EDTA) Congress. Attracting thousands of delegates, the event ranks among the largest conventions in Europe and is without a doubt the most highly attended gathering of nephrologists in Europe.

The 53rd ERA-EDTA Congress will be held in Vienna in the Austria Center Vienna from the 21st to 24th of June 2016. Every year, the ERA-EDTA Association organizes the Congress in one of the principal European cities and thus provides an important forum for all qualified workers in the field of nephrology.

The President of the Congress will be Professor Dr. Gert Mayer, Head of the Department of Internal Medicine at the Medical University Innsbruck in Austria, who specializes in nephrology and hypertension.

C-IN, IAPCO member Professional Congress Organizer company based in Prague, will act, once again, as the official housing agent.

C-IN will provide services such as visa management, transfers from and to the airport, hostesses and other services, along with complete hotel administration and management and social program management. The latter will include different dinners and receptions, but also city tours and excursions.

ERA-EDTA Congress also in Prague

In 2011, C-IN assisted in organizing the 48th ERA-EDTA Congress and was thus responsible for services in the Prague Congress Centre (PCC) in Prague, Czech Republic. Being held from the 23rd to the 26th of June 2011, the event hosted more than 10 thousand delegates from all over the world. The Congress’ attendees had thus the unique opportunity to exchange knowledge and establish new contacts in the field of innovative medicine and science.

“We value highly the very positive response that we received from the key stakeholders of the 48th EDTA Congress”, says Petra Kamenska, C-IN Project Manager, adding: “We take pride in having participated in the organization of the largest scientific event ever held in the Czech Republic.”

The scientific program consisted of more than 60 symposia in 7 major tracks covering principal areas of  clinical nephrology, dialysis and transplantation and also included a large number of well-chosen oral communications, plenary lectures and mini lectures, and more than 1,000 poster presentations.
