Munich / Hamburg, April 1st 2014 – Dr. Cai-Nicolas Ziegler (36) is taking over as new managing Director of XING EVENTS, the event industry expert for attendee management and event marketing. Ziegler is taking over from the current managing director Norbert Stockmann, who is responsible for the expansion over the past two years, the successful integration of amiando GmbH into the XING network as well as the name change to XING EVENTS GmbH.
Up until now Dr. Cai-Nicolas Ziegler was head of global online product management at PAYBACK GmbH. There he was primarily in charge of global online, social media and personalization. He is also author of various publications, such as the book “Social Media and ROI“ published by O’Reilly.
Ziegler habilitated in computer sciences and worked at Boston Consulting Group, most recently as project leader, before joining PAYBACK.
