Zibrant has today (Thursday 3 April) been named by The Times as one of 50 of the UK’s top employers for women.

The events agency has been placed amongst companies including Microsoft, Diageo and Credit Suisse, as a result of its commitment to promoting equal opportunities for men and women, and significant female representation at board level (50%).

In order to be considered as one of the Top 50, Zibrant was required to demonstrate that gender equality is an integral part of its business strategy and that consistent commitment to progressing women in the workplace covers the entire organisation, as opposed to isolated areas.

As part of a rigorous judging process implemented by campaign on gender diversity, Opportunity Now, Zibrant also submitted detailed information about both internal processes and external activity that promotes gender equality, diversity and inclusion.

Fay Sharpe, managing director of Zibrant, comments: “We’re absolutely thrilled that we’ve been recognised as one of The Times’ 50 top employers for women this year. As an industry, we have a huge number of talented females and it’s important that these women have the opportunity to progress within the workplace.

“At Zibrant, we’ve found it essential to recognise that male and female employees often require support in different areas, and try to provide a flexible environment to reflect this. This has meant that talented individuals – regardless of gender – have been able to progress within the company.”

Zibrant offers a number of employee benefits including a flexible working environment, childcare vouchers and an annual development programme, the ZhD, which results in an internal qualification and salary enhancement.

This is the second year that Zibrant has been recognised by The Times. The company was first honoured in 2012.
