Internet World 2014 Event manager Nathalie Davies said: “We’re delighted to have had so many innovative, exciting startups apply to the Startup Showcase. Internet World 2014 will provide the perfect venue for these fledgling startups to show off their ideas – they’ll be able to meet plenty of potential users, advisors, investors and advocates and share their energy and inspiration with all attendees.”

Sami McCabe, CEO of Clarity PR and one of the judging panel, said: “We were looking for creative entries from startups with a particular relevance to the Internet World audience and an existing base of customers that are already benefitting from the services the entrants provide. The quality of applications was very high and we feel that the 15 selected will do themselves and Internet World 2014 proud.”
