LONDON, Dec. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Egencia®, the business travel company of Expedia, Inc., is adding a new Global Partnership Agreement to its existing relationship with leading traveler security provider, iJET International, Inc.

This new agreement will provide an enhanced experience for Egencia customers subscribing to iJET travel risk management services.

As part of its longstanding duty of care offering, Egencia partners with iJET by sending traveler itinerary information to the security services provider. This partnership allows iJET to provide a fully integrated, end-to-end travel risk management solution for Egencia business travelers around the world. This addition to the existing relationship calls for initiatives to enhance and grow the support Egencia customers receive in building ties with iJET, while ensuring they can proactively respond to their duty of care obligations.

“Our clients have a responsibility to try to keep their travelers safe when they are on the road. We support them by developing policy tools and automation functions to help mitigate risks and communicate with their travelers in times of crisis. To that end, we are pleased to partner with world-class security providers such as iJET,” says Rob Greyber, president of Egencia.

“In today’s world, companies need to be able to operate globally with confidence and ensure the risks to their people and businesses are being proactively managed. In order for iJET to do this successfully for our partners and clients we rely on quality data and fully integrated business partnerships,” says Theresa Thomas, vice-president of Travel Partnerships at iJET. “Our enhanced partnership with Egencia takes this to a new level and ensures a more informed, engaged and seamless path to service their unique set of customers.”
