ITB Berlin Business Travel Days 2015 address hot business travel topics – among them the sharing economy, compliance and mobility scenarios of the future – special travel offer at low prices for trade visitors

Berlin – Changes in the economic situation and in society continue to have a high impact on the business world.How are they specifically influencing travel management?That is the question that experts will be examining at the ITB Berlin Business Travel Days which will take place from 4 to 6 March 2015.A trade visitor pass to ITB Berlin grants admission to all the lectures at the Business Travel Forum.On request, participants can receive a personal attendance certificate.

On 4 March 2015, taking as its slogan ’Thinking outside the box’, the ITB MICE Day will provide an insight into event industry trends.The Practical Day on 5 March 2015 will feature established communication formats at the plenary session and limited-attendance workshops.Plenary session topics will include ’Travel guidelines and compliance’ and ’Open booking’.

On 5 and 6 March 2015 the Business Travel Strategy Day will have tips for senior travel management executives on how to develop their careers. Topics for discussion will include how travel management executives cope with sharing economy providers and what impact internal organisation structures have on travel booking behaviour.Roland Keppler, the new COO of Moovel GmbH, will hold the keynote speech on ’Mobility scenarios of the future’.

On 4 March 2015 the Young Professional Day will present career starters and academically qualified young employees in the travel and tourism industry with ideas for shaping their futureby introducing unusual careers in the business travel sector.Visitors can also receive tips on obtaining work experience abroad.

The Travel Management Association (VDR) invites decision-makers and executives to hold their business talks in a new lounge, the ‘Home of Business Travel by ITB & VDR’ throughout the event in Hall 7.1a.
