The Association of Corporate Travel Executives has named Tracy Greer as its new manager for the Australasia region, effective 16 March. According to ACTE’s Executive Director Greeley Koch, Greer’s qualifications are perfectly suited for the association’s ambitious programs and fast-tracked membership growth in the Pacific Rim.

“Greer brings fifteen years of executive development to the table, with a strong background in travel and human resources,” said Koch. “She will play a key role in broadening our existing programs and initiating new ones, as concepts like traveler centricity achieve local and global acceptance.”

Prior to joining ACTE, Greer served as the Head of Government Business for Salmat; Regional Sales Manager/Government for Qantas Business Travel; and Head of Government Business for Diners Club. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (with double majors in industrial relations and human resource management) from the University of Western Sydney. Greer has a 13-year commitment as a volunteer with “The Smith Family,” a charity dedicated to helping disadvantage Australian children get the most out of their education.

Greer’s tenure is beginning at a new highpoint of ACTE’s influence in Australasia. The association’s most recent conference in the region (9-10 December 2014) drew 20 percent more registrants over the year before, with 171 participants attending for the first time. These numbers are likely to increase in 2015 as ACTE continues its focus serving Australasia.
