On Friday July 27, 2012 at 21:00 the Paros Park presents “A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC” with the Mozarte Trio Salzburg – A delightful musical mosaic of classic and romantic masterpieces by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms, waltzes from J. Strauss and Tangos from A. Piazzolla.

The MOZARTE TRIO Salzburg was founded in 2006 by the Austrian pianist Sigrid Hagn in honour of Mozart’s 250th birthday. The other two musicians forming the trio are Margarethe Hlawa on the violin and Julia Ammerer on the Violoncello.  The three musicians are connected by their unique affection to chamber music as well as a long and close friendship between them. The artists have studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and at the University Mozarteum in Salzburg.

The ensemble impresses its audience with empathetic, fascinating and virtuosic interpretations and its repertoire is based on compositions by W.A. Mozart but also contains the most important masterpieces of Baroque, Classic and Romantic music and a lot of contemporary pieces composed especially for the MOZARTE TRIO Salzburg as well.

The TRIO loves to travel with music because they like to feel and see different ways of life in other cultures and religions. They play their music to generate emotional feelings so as to form a trans-cultural connection with people from around the world.

The founder of the Trio, Ms. Sigrid Hagn, was in Paros on holiday with her husband last summer when they visited the Paros Park for the first time and was amazed by the beauty and positive energy of the area. When she saw the Archilochos Amphitheatre she was convinced that she wanted to perform there. She immediately contacted the Park with her request and today her dream has become a reality. She expresses her sense of fulfilment at being given the opportunity to play her music at such an extraordinary venue.

The concert is presented by the Paros Park with the support of the Austrian Embassy
Admission is 10 Euro.
Children under 12 are free of charge
