• 09.00: Historic Start of Marathon Race at Marathon Town
• 07:45: 5km Road Race WIND – Morning Start
• 08.35: 10km Road Race WIND Start
• 11.09: Estimated Finish Time of the 1st Male Marathon Runner
• 16:00: 5km Road Race WIND – Afternoon Start
Admission at the Panathenaic Stadium, and the Opening Ceremony venue in Marathon Tomb is FREE for spectators to attend the above events.
START AREAS
The Marathon Race Start area is at Marathon Town. The start of the 5km & 10km Road Races WIND is on Vass. Amalias Ave in Syntagma Square area.
PANATHENAIC STADIUM
The Panathenaic Stadium is ideally located in downtown Athens, just 1000m from the “Syntagma”, “Acropolis” and “Evangelismos” metro stations. You can get there by metro, bus, taxi or even walk.

Please note that no vehicles are allowed in the city centre of Athens and anywhere around the Panathenaic Stadium  on  Sunday  November  12, 2017, from 05:00 to 17:45. Therefore, for your own convenience, we strongly recommend the use of public transport (metro).
