In 2015, wine tourism generated nearly 50 million euros of business in Spain, 15% more than the previous year, bringing in over 2 million visitors. Within this context, the BODEGAS ARZUAGA-NAVARRO winery will be scheduling a number of different wine tourism activities at FITUR, allowing visitors to enjoy a “thematic morning”, an appealing stroll in an open, natural setting.

The activity begins with a visit to the estate “where, depending on the season, visitors can touch the soil in the vineyard itself, sample grapes straight from the vines, analyse the differences between varieties, and understand the different types of pruning. They put their nose to the test with fresh aromas”.

To conclude, “we will invite them to charge up with positive energy by embracing our thousand-year-old holm oak tree”. Following the visit to the estate, “we will show them the most advanced winemaking techniques applied at our facilities, trace the process of production, harvesting and transformation of the grapes, the ageing of the wines in barrels, the bottling and the ageing in the bottle until the wines are sold”.

BODEGAS ARZUAGA-NAVARRO is located in the province of Valladolid, at the heart of the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin. The wines that they produce come from the La Finca La Planta estate, covering 150 hectares of land owned by the Arzuaga family in the town of Quintanilla de Onésimo in the province.
