Buyers from more than 20 different countries qualified for WTM Connect Asia

wtmconnectasia2016WTM Connect Asia 2016 brings together suppliers of South East Asia and international travel product to meet with South East Asian, Chinese and international Hosted Buyers.

Since the qualification process began in January this year buyers from all around the world with strong purchasing power have been researched, selected and invited to attend WTM Connect Asia 2016. Already buyers have been confirmed to attend from more than 20 different countries including Australia, Brazil, Denmark, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Norway, Thailand, UK and Spain.

Guangzhou GZL Travel Service and Shanghai Ctrip International Travel Service are attending from China. Other names include HanaTour, Mayflower Group, Emirates, Gate 1 Travel, The Holiday Place (International), Cathay Pacific Holidays, Holiday Tours and Tidesquare (Asia).

WTM Connect Asia offers international travel companies the opportunity to meet, negotiate and do business with up to 100 top quality Hosted Buyers in a unique setting in the island of Penang, Malaysia. 40 buyers will be from China, 30 from South East Asia and 30 from the rest of the world.

Andrea Bloch, Product Manager for Asia and South Pacific, Gate 1 Travel explains why she is attending WTM Connect Asia: “The main geographical area I cover is the whole of Asia and South Pacific. I hope to connect with some of our existing partners at WTM Connect Asia as well as meet some new companies for future business”.
