The inaugural Money20/20 Europe will take place at Bella Center 5-7 April 2016. The three-day conference is expected to draw more than 3,000 delegates to the Danish capital. Money20/20 is a recurring event that will be held in Copenhagen again in 2017.

Money20/20 first saw the light of day in Las Vegas where the conference will attract more than 10,000 delegates this year, including over 1,000 CEOs and thousands more decision-makers, entrepreneurs etc. within the payments and financial services sector, representing 3,000 organizations and 75 countries.

During the most recent conference in October 2014, Money20/20 announced a plan to expand their portfolio with a European event in 2016.

Since the announcement, Wonderful Copenhagen has worked with Bella Center and network organization Copenhagen Fintech Innovation and Research (CFIR) to secure the conference to Copenhagen.

‘Copenhagen epitomizes Money20/20’s core values; it’s accessible, forward thinking, competitive, entrepreneurial and offers an incredible event experience for the international payments and financial technology community,’ says Katy Fryatt, Event Director, Money20/20.

What draws more than 3,000 attendees to Copenhagen?
Copenhagen is a university city and has a long tradition as a knowledge hub with an especially strong reputation within clean-tech, life-tech, human rights, finance and IT, to mention a few key fields, all of which are important for those who arrange association congresses.
