ICCA Australia Committee and ICCA Asia Pacific Regional Office are pleased to present the International Meetings Foundation Seminar (IMFS) taking place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), from 21 -22 February 2016, prior to the Asia Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME) in Melbourne.

This is the second IMFS and it promises to bring participants an all-rounded learning and networking opportunity with presentations from industry veterans covering a variety of topics – designed to educate anyone who is new to the meetings industry. To keep the excitement rolling, we are delighted to announce Ms. Lucy Perry, winner of the 2015 NAB Women’s Agenda Leadership Award, as Keynote Speaker for this year’s seminar. Ms. Perry was founding CEO and director of a brand new women’s health charity – Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia in Australia and she is now the CEO of Sunrise Cambodia in Australia which funds the work of legendary Australian humanitarian and Mum to Many, Geraldine Cox AM.

ICCA Australia Chair, Ms. Karen Bolinger of Melbourne Convention Bureau, states that, “The seminar is specifically designed to provide a solid foundation for newcomers in the meetings industry and is in line with ICCA Australia’s vision of sharing knowledge and expertise with the meetings community.”

The ICCA International Meetings Foundation seminar is open to all interested participants with experience not more than 5 years in the industry. ICCA members can enjoy a free registration, however a fee of AUD$165 (including GST) will be applicable for non-ICCA members. Kindly be informed that all travel and accommodation are at the participants’ own expense.
