Geneva, Switzerland, February 18, 2016Kenes Group, a leading Professional Conference Organizer (PCO) and Association Management company, has noted a rise in confirmed medical congresses in Latin America. Many of Kenes’ international clients are hosting their events in LATAM as more regional associations are becoming significant international players in their fields.

Kenes Group, a recognized market leader in the medical and scientific fields, has become the preferred local partner to a number of associations, due to its strong expertise in the development and growth of regional and international congresses. With the advancement of medical services in the region, many first time events are sprouting in the Kenes calendar, aiming to provide quality educational events to nurture local specialist communities.

Paola_CossioWe are bringing to the table fresh entrepreneurial spirit and to grow together with our clients, all supported by our understanding of the local market and the setting they operate in. We have seen our Latin American conferences mature through the years and now this is also translating into high-ranking medical services,” commented Paola Andrea Piza Cossio, who recently took over the position ofRegional Business Development Manager at Kenes Latin America. “With the increased international standing of the local medical community, we noted the need for more regional medical events, but also international ones with which to benchmark and align new ideas with local scholars,” added Paola.

After analyzing 190 hospitals and clinics of 12 Latin American countries, the magazine AméricaEconomía selected 42 of the best in the region. Thus, in order to support the development and to boost the image of the events industry in the region, the Group will be present at Procolombia’s Travel Mart in February, 25-26, in Bogotá, Colombia.
