abc forum16Decision-makers working with the world’s largest medical and clean-tech congresses recently gathered in Copenhagen for the 2016 Annual Meeting of the Association and Conference Forum. As part of their program, the delegates were introduced to what the Danish capital has to offer as a congress destination. Former AC Forum President, Daniel Waigl, dubbed the forum the ‘best ever’.

January 21-23, a record breaking number of 86 delegates gathered in Scandinavia’s largest congress center, the Bella Center in Copenhagen for a 3-day program. Apart from debating the areas of associations and conferences, the delegates got to see a bit of Copenhagen, includning a guided Canal Tour, a visit to the former brewery Visit Carlsberg, and a dinner at the Copenhagen City Hall, where they were welcomed by Mayor of Culture & Leisure, and joined by a number of prominent local guests.

“The AC Forum Annual Meeting is a great opportunity to exchange information about recent developments, innovations and best practice in the area of associations and conferences. Wonderful Copenhagen and the Bella Center did a great job in supporting the event. Probably the best AC Forum Annual Meeting I have ever attended,” said Daniel Waigl, AC Forum Past President.
