The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre (The QEIICC) has recorded a 56 per cent increase in the number of International enquiries considering London for events since 1st April 2012.

The increase is across both the association and corporate sectors, for events to be held in the next five years.

Sue Etherington, Commercial Director said: “I have a reasonably good feeling about the future.  I think the Olympic focus on London has drawn more interest from corporates, whilst London & Partner’s more ‘joined up’ approach has helped increase interest from associations. I also think that the USA (our main International market) had been depressed in the past two to three years and they haven’t been going overseas for meetings, but we have now noticed that they have started to enquire again. The challenge now is to convert them to solid business for both the Centre and for London.”

The QEIICC will be exhibiting at EIBTM on the London & Partners Stand G200 and will be launching its new London –focused Integrated campaign that will be rolled out across both traditional and digital channels over the coming months, including being featured  on The QEIICC’s new website www.qeiicc.co.uk
