Launched earlier this year under the initiative of the Dubai Convention Bureau, the Dubai Bid Alliance (DBA) was formed to offer a comprehensive package of necessary products and partners to prospective congress event organizers.
In only two months, Dubai hotels have confirmed their participation with 10,092 rooms across a variety of star ratings. Inclusion of these rooms in the program means flexible terms and held rates for congress planners who are planning large events in Dubai.
Founding DBA committee members include the Dubai Convention Bureau, Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre, Emirates Airline, two five-star hotels, two four-star hotels and one three-star hotel, plus one DMC and one PCO, both of the latter based in Dubai.
Speaking of the success of the alliance, Jerad Bachar, Director of the Dubai Convention Bureau states “This program is truly THE strongest alliance in the world. No other destination can match the combination of our quality and number of hotel options, the reach of Emirates Airlines, the amount of convention center space, and the talent of our service
providers…nowhere but Dubai!”
