The Athens Ledra Marriott close to Plaka asked Marriott Global Pursuits visitors to share their experience of the Athens hotel and the destination Greece.
“We asked visitors of our stand to share their Athens experiences. The sales people of the hotels will always speak highly about their own products,” said Yvo van der Tol, Director of Sales and Marketing, “but clients nowadays are more and more looking for information and opinions from other travelers. With the YouTube channel of the hotel we saw an opportunity to broadcast their experiences and bring the show to clients who were not able to come to the Global Pursuits 2010.”
The Athens Ledra Marriott created a “multimedia connection” by broadcasting the short experience movie on www.youtube.com/athensledramarriott . It offers viewers the opportunity to have a glimpse of the dynamics of this beautiful property and, at the same time, features the opinions of visitors to Athens regarding the city’s virtue as a legendary travel destination and their thoughts about the Athens Ledra Marriott Hotel as a home base during their stay.
