Prague, January 7th 2010 – Since the beginning of the 2010 two new hotels have extended one of the brands of the Czech CPI Hotels company.  Former three stars Quality Hotel Prague and Comfort Hotel Prague were rebranded and became a part of the brand network Fortuna Hotels as Fortuna Hotel City and Fortuna Hotel West, with a three stars standard again.
“The CPI Hotels company has grown and extended a lot in the last years, speaking about number of hotels, as well as their brands. Maintaining such a heterogeneous spectra of hotels requires strong efforts and many additional costs for specific needs of each hotel, which have to meet brand norms,” stated the CPI Hotels director Jan Kratina. “We decided to clarify our portfolio according to individual brands and to develop each group in a long-term horizon,” added Kratina.
During the 2010 for the sales reasons the newly rebranded hotels will be presented with both names, rather as “Fortuna Hotel City (ex. Quality Hotel Prague)” and “Fortuna Hotel West (ex. Comfort Hotel Prague)”. From the 2011 the old name will abolish.
“The brand Fortuna Hotels represents one of the first groups of our portfolio and with the new rebranded hotels includes five operations altogether in Prague and Františkovy Lázně. We believe that these changes bring benefits primarily to the guests, who can expect the same level of services in all hotels,” underlined Jan Kratina.
