Hotel Energy Solutions presents new concept at FITUR Madrid

Hotel Energy Solutions www.hotelenergysolutions.net (HES), a United Nations World Tourism Organization coordinated project designed to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of the EU accommodation sector, announces a new workshop as part of FITUR Green – which will showcase at FITUR Madrid .
Three energy technology suppliers are confirmed to present at the Hotel Energy Solutions workshops on 22 January 2010 to date, including Buderus www.buderus.es, part of the BOSCH group, presenting on Efficiency through Condensation Technologies; TUV Rheinland www.tuv.es,presenting on Optimising Energy Resources for Hotels; and Home Hotel Energy www.hyhclub.com, presenting on LED Technology in Hotel Lighting. All three companies will also be exhibiting throughout the course of FITUR within the dedicated FITUR GREEN section.
The interactive workshops will follow HES’s annual conference that takes place on 21 January ‘Towards a More Competitive Industry’, designed to enable delegates to discover the solutions that Europe’s leading hotels and destinations are implementing to save energy, be more competitive and reduce emissions.
Zoritsa Urosevic, spokesperson for HES says: “Those attending FITUR 2010 will have the chance to participate for the first time in a comprehensive programme of events comprising of a conference, workshops and exhibition – all dedicated to hotels and energy. We have a wide rage of expert presenters from the fields of tourism, technology, certification, architecture and with over 5,000 hotels exhibiting at FITUR we believe this will be a fantastic forum for debate on how we can drive our industry to become smarter, greener and more competitive.”
