Awarded with the Traveller’s Choice in the 8th ceremony of the awards
The hotel Riu Palace Maspalomas, located by the stunning sand dunes of Maspalomas and close to Playa del Inglés in Gran Canaria (Spain), has received the TripAdvisor’s Traveller’s Choice award in the category of the best 25 Spanish hotels voted by European travellers.
The Traveller’s Choice awards are based on millions of opinions and reviews written by travellers from all around the world and posted on the web site of TripAdvisor. These accolades recognise the quality and the value of the resorts.
TripAdvisor is one of the widest and most popular online communities for international travellers. The 8th celebration of the Traveller’s Choice awards has recognised 719 hotels.
The 4 star Riu Palace Maspalomas was the first Palace hotel built by RIU in 1989. It features 368 rooms and it is surrounded by extensive landscaped gardens.
Maspalomas is a beautiful location ideal for those who enjoy practising water sports. Close to the hotel there are two 18-hole golf courses.
Currently RIU Hotels & Resorts has 12 hotels in Gran Canaria and a total of 24 hotels in the Canary Islands.
