International Conference Services Ltd. (ICS) is proud to announce that the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) has once again awarded ICS with the contract to organize several World Conferences on Lung Cancer (WCLC). The new agreement extends the ICS-IASLC working relationship for 2013, the 15th WCLC in Sydney, Australia; 2015, the 16th WCLC in Denver, USA; and 2017, the 17th WCLC to be held in Europe.
ICS responded to the request for proposal for a Professional Conference Organizer (PCO) by IASLC and met with tough competition from international contenders.
After a lengthy deliberation and interview process, the IASLC decided that ICS continues to be the best fit for their conference planning needs internationally.
This continues the ICS-IASLC partnership which has been established through providing excellent service, consistent growth and detailed planning for success. Our previous collaboration includes: 2003, the 10th WCLC held in Vancouver, Canada; 2007, the 12th WCLC held in Seoul, Korea, and 2009, the 13th WCLC held in San Francisco, USA.
During this time, delegate participation in this international leading conference has nearly doubled; the 2009 WCLC conference achieving delegate numbers over 6,200.
ICS and IASLC are aiming to continue the momentum for 2011, the 14th WCLC in Amsterdam, The Netherlands;
anticipating upwards of 7,000 delegates.
Planning conferences with IASLC across three continents and seven cities, ICS has secured its place as an international authority in organizing both small and large–scale scientific meetings.
