Foreign Embassies in Moscow will become tourist attractions on April 18 and May 18, 2010

In Moscow in the days of historical and cultural heritage on April 18 and May 18 the citizens and guests of the city will be able to visit 26 diplomatic missions of foreign countries, said Leonid Kondrashev, the Deputy Head of Moscow Committee of Heritage.

“This year we open more than 100 properties of cultural heritage. 26 of them are diplomatic missions of Belgium, Iceland, Egypt, Greece, The House of Reception of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and some other places”, said Mr. Kondrashev during the press-conference.

It’s interesting to note, that according to the words of the Head of the Administration of Diplomatic Corps of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Victor Lisyakin, in some Embassies the excursions for the visitors will be held by the Heads of diplomatic missions.
