Indonesia will open Tourist Office in Moscow

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Indonesia is planning to open representative office in April in Moscow.

According to the words of the Director of the Department of the Development of Travel Markets, the opening of the national tourist office will help to increase the number of tourists traveling from Russia to Indonesia. About 67 thousand Russians visited Indonesia last year. Russia takes the 8th place in the ranking list of the countries-suppliers of the tourists to Indonesia.

It’s important to note, that Indonesia is planning to increase the advertising budget for 30% in comparison with 2009. In general, 6.5 million tourists visited Indonesia in 2009 (+0.4%).
