Russia and Turkey may sign a bilateral visa abolition agreement in May, 2010

Russia and Turkey are working now on the agreement for visa-free regime between the countries. At the moment, the Russians have a simplified regime of entering Turkey. The visa cost $20 and can be issued in any entry post (valid for 2 months).

Earlier this year Prime-Minister of Turkey Recep Erdogan after the meeting with the Russian Prime-Minister Vladimir Putin said that the agreement concerning visa abolition could be signed in May-June during the visit to Turkey of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
