The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia advises not to travel to Bangkok

On Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation confirmed the earlier announced recommendations for the Russians to refrain from visiting Bangkok till the normalization of the situation in Thailand.

The report was published after the aggravation of the situation in Thailand, when bombs exploded in the crowd on the major shopping street in Bangkok – Silom. As a result, 1 person was killed and 86 were injured. The Ministry specified that there were no Russians among the injured people.

“We hope that domestic political difficulties in Thailand will be resolved soon by means of peaceful dialogue within the framework of constitutional process avoiding further bloodshed”, was reported by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
