The former imperial residence Hofburg Vienna with more than 700 years of history is unique as international congress and events centre. Being a center of excellence state-of-the-art technology is a matter of course for Hofburg Congress Center.

As a result Hofburg Vienna is permanently investing in technology in order to provide its customers with the latest event facilities. Recently the sound technology and lightening systems were improved. The modern ambience lightening now meets special demands for stage shows and presentations. The Festsaal and the Grosser Redoutensaal both make a dazzling impression with more than 25 VariLite 1,000 and about 10 VariLite 3,500 spot lights. In addition to this a digital Rocknet sound system with double redundant failsafe has just been introduced as well as the new digital interpreters’ booths at the Festsaal are not affected by flash photography and provide every international congress with clear communication. Hofburg Vienna is Europe’s first address for congresses and meetings as well as for banquets, trade fairs, concerts and balls.
