ICCA UK & Ireland Chapter has announced the details for its second annual Masterclass entitled; ‘Fast Track to Securing Association Business’ to take place on the 8th October.

Following on from the successful first event in 2009, which attracted over 60 delegates, the seminar is designed to offer practical advice and insight into how to win and retain association business for newcomers to the industry.

Speakers on the day will include representatives from; VisitBritain, Kenes UK, QEII, Leith’s, Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, Edinburgh Convention Bureau, the British Cardiovascular Society  and The Right Solution.

James Rees, Chair of ICCA UK & Ireland Chapter commented; “Understanding the association sector can be a real challenge, particularly for those that are new to the industry. This event has been designed as a one day overview of the sector with some of the industry’s best figures giving their insight into what it has to offer and how best to tap into it. We had some fantastic feedback from last year’s event with delegates telling us they had taken away real insight into the sector and we hope to be able to build on this success for 2010.”
