VisitBrighton has become the latest UK conference destination to join the Meetings Industry Association’s newly created destinations group; MIA Destinations.

The group aims to further represent the views of the growing number of members from destinations and convention bureaux across the industry and VisitBrighton brings the total number of destinations represented to 27.

Darren Johnson, Convention Bureau Sales Manager comments: “As a destination we are committed to further developing our offering in line with the changing needs of event organisers but more importantly working together to share experiences with the many destinations and conference bureaux to create a unified voice within our industry.”

The Meetings Industry Association (MIA) is the largest association for the meetings industry for the UK & Ireland, and the keepers of AIM (Accredited in Meetings) the only meetings industry standard endorsed by VisitBritain. Membership of the Meetings Industry Association and achievement of AIM clearly demonstrates a commitment to world class service and exceptional business principles.
