Dublin, 5 October 2010 – Datalex has won a World Travel Award for the second year a row, beating the competition for the title of Europe’s Leading Travel Distribution Solution Provider.

Datalex accepted the award at the European Gala Ceremony held in Antalya, Turkey, attended by hundreds of senior travel industry executives.

Now celebrating its 17th anniversary, the awards are regarded as the very highest accolade that a travel product can achieve. Votes are cast by 183,000 travel professionals which include travel agencies, tour and transport companies and tourism organisations in over 160 countries across the globe.

Following the prestigious award for ‘Technology Foresight’ received at the World Low Cost Airlines Awards (see release attached), Datalex continue to receive recognition for technology innovation from major airlines and travel distributors across the globe.
