Greece issued in two times more visas for the Russians during 9 months

Consular Services of Greece in Russia issued 363 thousand visas during 9 months of 2010 (+50% in comparison with the same period of last year).

According to the representative office of Greek National Tourism Organization in Moscow, the majority of visas were issued during the period from May to August (almost 293 thousand visas).

According to Aleksandr Tsandekidis, General Director of Mouzenidis Travel, the tourist flow from Russia to Greece increased in reality by 30% during 9 months of this year.

“The popularity of the country can be explained by several reasons: Greek Consular was loyal with issuing visas, a lot of tourists received multiply visas this summer”, said Mr. Tsandekidis. “Besides,  Russian tour operators promoted Greece a lot”. source: atorus.ru
