The establishment of a spinal column sub-specialty with the submission of a relevant proposal to the Central Health Council was, among others, on the agenda at the 4th Hellenic Spine Congress which was held on 27-30 October at Valis Resort in Volos.
The 4th Hellenic Spine Congress, like its predecessors, is an active proof of the attempt made by neurosurgeons and orthopaedics to join forces on spinal cord surgery.
The event was realized following an initiative by the newly-formed Hellenic Spine Society and was the result of the collaboration between the two parent societies, the Hellenic Neurosurgery Society and the Hellenic Association of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology.
The main purpose of the Congress was the “pathology of confluences”; leading Greek and foreign experts presented their papers to a large number of participants.
The Conference was organized by ARTION.
