The permanent exhibition „Computerspiele. Evolution eines Mediums“ (Computergames. Evolution of a medium) illuminates the rich cultural games history and starts with the first electronic computer in Germany “Nimrod”. The „Wall of Hardware” with about fifty „game machines“ explains the technical development from the “Brown Box“ (1968) to the “Xbox” (2001). Steadily changing special exhibitions with as well history of the games as current developements in the games culture are planned.
