VisitBrighton is set to ‘rock’ International Confex this year with some help from the hugely anticipated international film release ‘Brighton Rock’ Friday, 4th February .

The new film starring Sam Riley, John Hurt and Helen Mirren is the inspiration behind the convention bureau’s networking event, ‘Brighton Rock Unconventional’ taking place at 3pm on Tuesday 1st March on its stand B111. For the drinks reception, the stand will be transformed. Visitors will be in for a treat as the 1960s theme gets into full swing, with a classic Vespa, cool cocktails as well as the team and stand partners donning items of sixties nostalgia, from trilby’s to fascinators. Brighton will be giving away plenty of sticks of rock, which will give visitors the chance to win a selection of prizes.

Speaking of VisitBrighton’s presence at International Confex, Darren Johnson, Convention Bureau Sales Manager comments; “International Confex is a great show for the city, as it gives us yet another opportunity to showcase all of our tremendous facilities and to update the industry of our new developments. As a city synonymous with innovation and creativity this year we are embracing our fun and quirky side to give visitors to the stand a real taste of Brighton hospitality.”

VisitBrighton’s partners will include; The Brighton Centre, Sussex County Cricket Club, Lansdowne Place Hotel & Spa, Holiday Inn Brighton – Seafront, Hilton Brighton Metropole, The Grand Brighton, Thistle Brighton, Hotel Seattle Brighton, Raddisson Blu, Brighton Dome.
