On February 1st, Congress Company joined the foundation Maastricht Convention Bureau, making the total number of participants 44.
The Maastricht Convention Bureau is a foundation which promotes Maastricht & surrounding area as a destination for conventions and corporate meetings, both in The Netherlands as well as abroad. Next to that, the foundation offers objective, independent advice and mediation to people who would like to organise their convention, meeting, incentive or event in Maastricht & surrounding area.
Congress Company is an “Erkend Congresbedrijf” (Acknowledged Congress Company) and certified Professional Congress Organiser (PCO), which focuses on organising (inter)national medical congresses.
Arjan Appel, director of Congress Company: “In the Netherlands, we are one of the largest suppliers of accredited training of medical specialists and care takers. Annually, we are involved in the organisation of over 50 meetings.
Our clients are the largest specialists associations of the country, such as the Dutch Association for Psychiatry (NVvP), the Dutch Association for Medical Science (NVvH), the Dutch association for Radiology (NVvR) and many more. Thanks to our long term cooperation with these associations, individual members who reside in a European or International Association, select us as their PCO when they are trying to get a European or International convention hosted in the Netherlands. An example of such is the EVC convention which, thanks to our contacts, went from Amsterdam/Marseille to Maastricht.

By becoming a member of the Maastricht Convention Bureau, Congress Company likes to profile itself as PCO from Maastricht. Our goal is to offer our experience to the city of Maastricht, which has so much to offer for medical conventions.”
