Egencia recorded strong results in 2010

London, Paris, Munich, Brussels – (February 15, 2011) – Egencia®, an Expedia, Inc. company, announced full year 2010 results.

Egencia continued its strong performance with gross bookings* growth of 41% and revenue growth of 32% compared to 2009.

Egencia recorded $1, 944 billion of gross bookings and $143 million of revenue for the full year  2010.

The company is also showing momentum in other key areas:

–          In 2010, Egencia Europe gained new clients such as Saipem SA in France, University of Manchester in the UK, Aurelius AG in Germany and Gambro as a Pan-european customer.

–          Additionally, Egencia extended its global presence to 39 countries and has already new Egencia Global Alliance (EGA) plans for 2011.

Egencia has continued to invest in innovation including Air Fare Benchmarking and Traveller Tracking tools integrated directly into the Egencia booking platform:

–          Air Fare Benchmarking allows travellers and companies to track real-time fare trends and ensure they are getting the best price.

–          Egencia Traveller Tracking tool enables European clients to fully comply with traveller duty of care obligations. Since it is integrated into Egencia’s offer by default, this is now available to all businesses – small to large.
