Booming tourism investments in Serbia

Recognizing great potentials of this region has resulted in mushrooming of new hotels and other tourism investments in Serbia. Over the past two years more than 60 hotels have been opened of which more than 20 just in Serbia capital, Belgrade. Square Nine (www.squarenine.rs) is a new five-star 45 room boutique hotel in the centre of Belgrade.

Other examples of new hotel projects are the Kempinski, Crowne Plaza, two Holliday Inn hotels, Hilton and Falkenstiener, all scheduled to open in 2012-2013.

Developing a state-of-the art golf course infrastructure in close proximity of Belgrade international airport, as well as opening of brand new spa and aqua park resorts demonstrate considerate investments into tourism industry in Serbia.
