Croatia for the 3rd time abolishes the visas for the citizens of Russia during the period from April 1 to October 31. Such rule will be also valid for the citizens of Ukraine and Kazakhstan. The travellers will only need the passport for entering the country for the duration of stay up to 90 days.

In the framework of the regular visa regime, the Russian tourists don’t need visas if they have the vouchers for accommodation up to 90 days. As for the private visits, the person needs the original of the invitation in accordance with a set form. In other cases the person must apply for a visa to the Consulate Service in advance.

According to the Croatian National Statistics Bureau, 165 thousand Russians visited the country with the tourist purposes in 2010 (+35% in comparison with 2009). source: atorus.ru
