The Russian tourists didn’t go to Thailand instead of Egypt

The general tourist flow of the Russians to Thailand increased just by 2% in February 2011. So, morethan70.5 thousand Russiansvisited Thailandin February. At the same time, according to ATOR Analytical Service, the reorientation of the Russian tourists from Egypt to Thailand increased the tourist flow to Thailand only by 1%.

If to compare with February 2010, the Russians remained on the 7th place in the rating of the countries-suppliers of the tourists to Thailand. However the share of the Russians decreased by 0.4%. So we can conclude that Thailand didn’t become an alternative for Egypt.

It’s interesting to note that according to the data of TOURMARKET.INFO (system of price monitoring) Thailand took for the first time the 1st place (in number of processed requests) in February with the share of 20.6%. source: atorus.ru
