This year the EAU held its annual congress in Vienna, at the ACV (Austria Centre Vienna). The EAU organises congresses for the international urological community since the 70’s and this year attracted more than 14,000 participants; establishing it as one of the largest medical congresses in Europe.

This year’s meeting set an inspiring and positive tone for the rest of the “urological” year, with a top-class scientific programme, new data, exciting debates, very popular educational courses and an exceptional exhibition.

ACS supported the congress in supplying equipment and technical support throughout the 5 day meeting. Their 12 metre wide screen ensured that each of the plenary sessions were highly visible to the 3,000 capacity auditorium. 20 simultaneously used session rooms, were equipped with full audio and projection beamers and screens. Additional smaller meeting rooms were fitted with laptops, projectors and screens. ACS also made recordings of the General Assembly meetings, to be kept as reference by the EAU.
