TravelStore Launches New Meetings and Incentives Department

One of the nation’s largest 100% employee-owned travel management companies, TravelStore, has launched a Meetings and Incentives division. TravelStore announced the creation of the Meetings and Incentives division to better focused on supporting corporate meetings, incentives and events for clients.

TravelStore, the largest 100% employee-owned travel management company based in California, announced the creation of a Meeting & Incentives division focused on supporting corporate meetings, incentives and events for clients.

TravelStore’s Meetings & Incentives division will offer a comprehensive range of services for handling domestic and international special events, group travel, business meetings, sporting events, conventions, promotions, and incentive programs.

“While we’ve handled meetings and incentives previously,” said Wido Schaefer, TravelStore’s CEO, “this new division will enable us to better coordinate logistics for all parts of the meeting spectrum – from tactical advice on individual events and programs to providing a strategically managed meetings solution that maximizes cost savings, optimizes brand awareness and minimizes risk for clients.”

TravelStore’s Meeting & Incentives division is spearheaded by Jamie Hall, a certified meeting planner with over 10 years of experience in the meeting and event industry, who has a yellow belt certification in Lean Six Sigma. “Jamie has extensive experience in planning logistics for corporate meetings, incentives, and special events for several large companies throughout the United States, including Amgen Pharmaceuticals, Eli Lilly and Company, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society,” said Schaefer.

TravelStore launched the division as a result of a growing demand for these services, which have included handling sophisticated executive board meetings to creating “trips of a lifetime” incentives. “Our team has incredible depth of knowledge at both global and local levels,” said Hall. “We use our passion, creativity, and keen sense of planning to ensure our clients’ meetings and events are flawless, engaging and inspiring.”
