Marieke Visser new Director of RAI Exhibitions

Marieke Visser (36) has been appointed Director Marketing and National Exhibitions at Amsterdam RAI as of 1 June 2011. Her function will be part of RAI Exhibitions, the department responsible for the operation and development of the RAI’s 25 national and international exhibition titles. Visser started at RAI Exhibitions as head of Marketing Services in early 2010 and will now add the majority of the job responsibilities of departing Henk Wielinga to her activities.

Background

With a background in publishing, Marieke Visser initially worked in marketing at VNU Business Publications, and in later years in the general management of multimedia portfolios for publishers in the Netherlands and the UK. At her most recent previous employers Reed Business and Marqit, Marieke was focused on the launch, development and expansion of online business models as a standalone product or integrated within an existing brand proposition.
