The majority of the Russian tourists in Greece spend the holidays in Crete Island

According to the Greek statistics, the most popular destination among the Russians remains Crete. 53 thousand Russians visited the island in June 2011 (+50% in comparison with the same period of last year).

A good dynamics showed May which cannot be called a high season in Greece. Nevertheless, almost 30 thousand Russians visited the country in May (+80% in comparison with 2010).
